An elopement is just a different style of wedding where you pay close attention to who you actually want to be there and what you actually want to do with your life-altering day. An elopement could just be you two, it could include your very closest family or friends, or it could be a small affair with up to about 25 people (often referred to as an intimate wedding.) You can hike, you can go to a brewery, you can go swimming, you can really do whatever you want --but the only thing you have to do is get married!
While eloping used to have a negative connotation, it's now seen as a wonderful, freeing experience --the kind that couples who had a big wedding wish they'd chosen instead. Small weddings like this produce significantly less stress, give you the freedom to be your true selves, and live life with more intention and meaning.
They are becoming more and more popular!

Stunning mountains, vast deserts, enchanting big tree forests, epic rocky cliffs, rolling hills, grassy fields (if you look in the right places), and all of it is drenched in that gorgeous golden sunshine!
With access to multiple national parks, great weather all year round, and every terrain you can think of within a few hours of each other, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to elope here! Being so in love with this state, I know all the best and off the beaten path spots, and I am constantly learning about new ones! I'd be happy to help you hit explore the environment you are looking for. |
